Learning Games
Learning Games make patterns of coordination, leadership and decision-making visible. A first round shows the system as it currently works; the debrief and second round show what it can become.
Two rounds
The game is not a distraction and the debrief is not a closing comment. The format creates a situation in which everyday habits become observable: who takes over, who waits, who coordinates, who listens, how the team handles errors and how information is distributed.
After the first attempt, the group analyses what it did, introduces useful principles or tools, and plays again. The comparison between the two experiences is what gives the format its value.

What we observe
How the team distributes information, synchronises its actions and manages dependencies.
Who decides, based on what information, and what happens when the first assumption fails.
What the team actually changes between two attempts — and what it repeats despite the debrief.
